Tessabee

Privacy policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Tessabee is in beta. It's in early testing and open to invited testers only. We'll keep improving this policy as we get ready to launch, and we'll tell you about any important changes before they take effect.

This policy explains what Tessabee collects about you, why, who helps us look after it, and what you can do about it. We've tried to keep it short and in plain English.

The short version

Who we are

Tessabee is run by Michal Draszewski, a sole trader trading as Tessabee. You can contact us at [email protected].

Business address: being set up, coming soon. Until then, please write to us by email.

We are the "data controller" for the personal information described here. That means we decide how it's used and we're responsible for looking after it.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google

We never see or store your Google password.

What you put into Tessabee

When you pay Coming soon

Tessabee is free during the beta, so we don't take any payments yet. When paid plans start, payments will be handled by Stripe. We'll never see or store your full card number. Stripe will tell us your name, email, billing country and postcode, the type of card, its last four digits and expiry date, and your payment history.

Who helps us run Tessabee

We use a few trusted companies to run the service. They handle your data only on our instructions, under data protection agreements.

Some of these are US companies, so your data may sometimes be accessed from outside the UK. When that happens, it's protected by safeguards approved under UK law. These are either the UK–US "data bridge" or the UK's standard data transfer agreements, built into each company's data protection terms. You can ask us for details.

Who can see your content

What's stored on your device

Tessabee doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a few things in your browser so that it works:

All of this is essential for the service, so we don't need to ask for consent. Signing out removes the copy of your boards and files from that device. If we ever add analytics or anything non-essential, we'll ask you first.

Keeping it safe

If something ever goes wrong and your data is put at risk, we'll tell you and, where required, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Your rights

You have the right to:

Email [email protected] for any of these. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Age

Tessabee is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes to this policy

Tessabee is still in beta, so this policy will change as the service grows (for example when paid plans and sharing arrive). For important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
